Can I see the materials in person?
Yes. Visit our showroom at 103 Huey St, Wildwood, FL 34785, Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 12 PM. You can compare flooring, tile and countertop samples from brands like Elysium, DYAR, Aqua Shield, Windlass, Parkay, SFI, DreamWeaver and TopzStone.

Do you offer financing?
No, Black Gold doesn't offer financing. Every free in-home estimate comes with a written quote, so you can plan your project before you decide.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the size and scope. A single room of LVP or tile can take 1 to 2 days. Full-home flooring or a kitchen remodel may take 1 to 2 weeks. We give you a clear timeline before we start.
Flooring
What types of flooring do you install?
We install hardwood, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, porcelain and ceramic tile, carpet and epoxy flooring in Wildwood, The Villages and Central Florida homes.
Do you remove and dispose of my old flooring?
Yes. We handle the removal of your old flooring, including disposal, and prepare the space before the new floor goes in.
Bathrooms and showers
Can you convert my bathtub into a walk-in shower? How long does it take?
Yes. Tub-to-shower conversions are part of our shower remodeling work in The Villages and Central Florida. The time depends on your bathroom: removing the tub, the drain arrangement, the entry you choose and the tile all affect the schedule, so we give you the timeline in writing before we start.
Walk-in tub or walk-in shower: which is better for seniors?
It depends on the person who will use it. A walk-in shower can be designed with a low or curbless entry where the bathroom allows it, plus a bench and grab bars, and you step in and out without waiting. A walk-in tub lets you sit and soak, but you get in before it fills and wait for it to drain before getting out. Tell us who will use the bathroom and how, and we'll talk through the options at your free estimate.
Kitchens, countertops and cabinets
Is quartz a good countertop? Is quartz safe?
Quartz is one of the countertop materials we install, along with granite and marble. Whether it fits your kitchen depends on how you cook and clean, so ask for the care and warranty information of the exact product. About safety: the concern in the news is the silica dust created when engineered stone slabs are cut and ground. California's rules are workplace rules for that fabrication and installation work. Do you paint or reface kitchen cabinets?
Yes. Cabinet painting, cabinet refacing and custom cabinets are part of our cabinet services in Wildwood, The Villages and Central Florida, along with cabinet installation and replacement. At the free estimate we look at your current cabinets and talk through which option fits your kitchen.
